Die Hochschule zieht den Stecker: Ein Interview mit Tino Geßner zum Energiesparen am Kunst- und Mediencampus der HAW Hamburg

Abstract

Deutschland hat ein großes Problem. Die Energiepolitik der vergangenen Regierungen hat das Land in einem hohen Maße von Russland abhängig gemacht. Abhängig von einem Land, das seit Februar 2022 Krieg in Europa führt. Um sich unabhängiger von Russland zu machen und sich den Herausforderungen des Klimawandels zu stellen, bedarf es neuer Lösungsoptionen. Wie diese Optionen konkret aussehen könnten, ist noch ungewiss. Fest steht aber, dass Deutschland dringend Energie sparen muss. Auch der Aspekt der Nachhaltigkeit spielt eine Rolle. Die Frage, die sich stellt, ist: Was kann man auf die Schnelle tun? Dies gilt es national und auch lokal zu beantworten. Im Artikel wird diese Frage auf lokaler Ebene für den Kunst- und Mediencampus Hamburg der HAW beantwortet.

Germany has a big problem. The energy policy of recent years has made the country highly dependent on Russia. Dependent on a country responsible for a war in Europe since February 2022. In order to sever trade relations with warring Russia, new solutions to the energy crisis are needed. How these options might look is still unknown. It is a fact, however, that Germany urgently needs to save energy. The aspect of sustainability also plays a role. The question that arises is: what can be done quickly? This has to be answered nationally and also locally. In the article, this question is addressed at the local level for the art and media campus Finkenau of the HAW Hamburg.
