Abstract:
This publication contains MATLAB (R2022) code to run a GUI for loudness calculation.

Loudness is determined according to models of Chalupper and Fastl (2002), Baumgarte (2000), and Glasberg and Moore (2007). Loudness is calculated specifically for ERB bands and including temporal effects resulting from non-stationary signals. The actual revision of the MATLAB code operates with R2022. The GUI allows to choose options from different models, to select between free-field and diffuse field recording conditions, to reference against in-situ measured SPL level, to choose between FFT (Fast Fourier Transform, Hanning or Blackmann-Harris) and FTT (Fourier Time Transformation, exponential window) for the pre-analysis, to choose between the different models for temporal and masking effects, and to choose from a set of presentation styles for the results. Files: MATLAB code is contained in Lautheit_Sabr.zip, Briefs on the models in English language is contained in Modeling_Overview.pdf, Details on the models in German language is contained in Sabrautzky_Loudness.pdf.
