Issue Date: | 28-Jan-2025 | Abstract: | The MATLAB source code is related to the publication "A pendulum with geometric curve-compensation to move a cable car on a strictly horizontal track". The publication contains an analytical approach to calculate the location of fixation points for a curve-compensated pendulum. This analytical approach bases on the geometry of an eccentric suspension which effectively accomplishes the compensation. Four examples of geometry are analized. The MATLAB source code represents the numerical implementation of this analysis with parameters of our choice. Please refer to the original publication to understand the geometric construction principle behind the analysis. |
