The equations given in the standard are plotted. A simple derivation shows that the shape of the MV is based more on its definition with the exponent 0.24 than the physics of the aircraft. The limit values specified in the standard follows the natural shape of the MV. The exponent 0.24 complicates matters unnecessary. |
