Abstract:
Following several violent police interventions in residential care homes in Berlin, Germany between 2018 and 2020 (cf. Clark et al. 2021b, p. 47), a professional debate arose (again) about bettering cooperation between social work and the police. This opens the general question of the relationship between residential care and the police, which is empirically largely unresolved.
