„La Haine“ (1995) als Inspiration für zeitgenössischen Deutschrap - Eine Untersuchung der thematischen und ästhetischen Gemeinsamkeiten von „La Haine“ und dem Album „Mann beisst Hund“ von OG Keemo.

Abstract

Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Film „La Haine“ (1995) als Inspiration für zeitgenössische, deutschsprachige Rapmusik. Hierzu wird vor allem das Album „Mann beisst Hund“ (2022) des Rappers OG Keemo auf Gemeinsamkeiten mit „La Haine“ untersucht. Dabei wird sowohl auf inhaltliche als auch ästhetische Parallelen eingegangen. Um die Relevanz von „La Haine“ als Inspiration nicht nur anhand eines einzelnen Albums zu bewerten, werden auch weitere Referenzen deutschsprachiger Hip-Hop Künstler*innen betrachtet und eingeordnet. Bei der Einordnung und Bewertung der Relevanz von „La Haine“ wird auch auf gesellschaftliche Themen eingegangen, die größtenteils marginalisierte Gruppen betreffen, da sowohl die Protagonisten des Filmes „La Haine“ als auch die prägenden Protagonist*innen der Hip-Hop Kultur aus diesen Umfeldern stammen und erzählen.

This thesis deals with the film "La Haine" (1995) as an inspiration for contemporary, germanlanguage rap music. For this purpose, the album "Mann beisst Hund" (2022) by the rapper OG Keemo is examined for similarities with "La Haine". In doing so, both content-related and aesthetic parallels will be addressed. In order to evaluate the relevance of "La Haine" as an inspiration not only on the basis of a single album, other references of german-speaking hip-hop artists are also examined. In the evaluation of the relevance of "La Haine", social issues will also be addressed, which largely concern marginalized groups, since both the protagonists of the film "La Haine" and the defining protagonists of hip-hop culture come from these backgrounds and tell stories based on this.
