| dc.description.abstract | The report presents a curated overview of the most relevant research activities in Aeroacoustics conducted across Europe during 2024. Compiled by the Aeroacoustics Specialists’ Committee (ASC) of the Council of European Aerospace Societies (CEAS), the contributions span multiple topical areas, including airframe noise, propeller noise, acoustic liners and metamaterials, experimental methodologies, and noise associated with urban air mobility platforms. Notable advancements are summarised in each section, many of which stem from nationally or internationally funded collaborative projects. In addition, this edition includes highlights from major Aeroacoustic events such as the 25th CEAS-ASC Workshop held in Bucharest and the 30th AIAA/CEAS Aeroacoustics Conference and Anniversary Ceremony in Rome. The purpose of the document is to support knowledge exchange within the European Aeroacoustic community and provide a reference point for current and emerging research directions. Enquiries concerning all contributions should be addressed to the authors whose contact information is provided at the end of each subsection. | en |
