On RAGE – eine Beschäftigung mit Wut aus FLINTA*Perspektive zwischen Kunst und Aktivismus

Abstract

Der folgende Text ist eine theoretische Arbeit zu meinem Projekt RAGE, welches im Rahmen des Masterstudiengangs Zeitabhängige Medien Sound/Vision an der HAW Hamburg entstand. RAGE verflechtet musikalische Kompositionen mit Sounddesign, Visuals sowie englischen und deutschen Texten und greift dabei erzählerisch verschiedene Facetten von Wut aus der Perspektive von FLINTA* Personen (Frauen, Lesben, Nicht-Binäre, Trans- und Agender-Personen) auf. Die dazugehörige theoretische Arbeit erläutert als Erstes die Emotion Wut aus FLINTA* - Perspektive. Anschließend wird die künstlerische Verarbeitung des Themas Wut von Werken der Künstler*innen Pussy Riot, CASSILS und Sivan Ben Yishai analysiert. Zuletzt wird RAGE analysiert, reflektiert und in Bezug auf die Darstellung von Wut mit den Werken der anderen Künstler*innen verglichen.

The following text is a theoretical paper on my project RAGE, which was created as part of the master's program in Time-Based Media Sound/Vision at HAW Hamburg. RAGE interweaves musical compositions with sound design, visuals, and English and German texts, narratively addressing various facets of anger from the perspective of FLINTA* individuals (women, lesbians, non-binary, trans, and agender individuals). The accompanying theoretical work first explains the emotion of anger from a FLINTA* perspective. It then examines the artistic treatment of the theme anger by the artists Pussy Riot, CASSILS, and Sivan Ben Yishai. Finally, RAGE is analyzed, reflected upon, and compared with the works of the other artists in terms of the representation of anger.
