| dc.description.abstract | Diese Arbeit entwirft und realisiert ein Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)-System im Rahmen eines Hardware-Software-Codesigns auf einer heterogenen DSP-FPGA-Plattform. Ausgehend von einer profillbasierten DSP-Baseline werden performanzkritische Verarbeitungsschritte - insbesondere FFT/IFFT, QAM-(De)Mapping und Cyclic Prefix (CP)-Verarbeitung - identifiziert und mithilfe von High-Level-Synthese (HLS) in dedizierte FPGA-IP-Module ausgelagert. Die Steuer- und Protokolllogik verbleibt auf dem DSP. Die Daten-kopplung erfolgt speichergemappt über die External Memory Interface A (EMIFA)-Schnittstelle, innerhalb des FPGAs wird AXI4-Stream zur internen Verbindung verwendet. | dc.description.abstract | This thesis designs and implements an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system within the framework of hardware-software codesign on a heterogeneous DSP-FPGA platform. Based on a profile-driven DSP baseline, performance-critical - processing stages - particularly FFT/IFFT, QAM (de)mapping, and cyclic prefix (CP) handling - are identified and offloaded to dedicated FPGA IP modules using High-Level Synthesis (HLS). Control and protocol logic remain on the DSP. Data exchange is performed via a memory-mapped External Memory Interface A (EMIFA) interface, while AXI4-Stream is employed internally on the FPGA for high-throughput interconnection.
