The battery comprises a plurality of battery cells and each switching element of the plurality of switching elements is arranged in parallel with at least one battery cell of the plurality of battery cells. The switch-on times are determined by a controller circuit. The method also comprises the step of measuring a voltage signal over the battery. Further, the method comprises the step of determining an impedance of the battery based on the measured voltage signal and on the generated current signal. |
