Campus-Brett - Ein System zur Unterstützung sozialer Interaktion an Hochschulen

Abstract

In dieser Arbeit wird der Einsatz von Social Computing Konzepten an Hochschulen untersucht. Der Trend von Web 2.0 und die Übertragung dieses Trends auf das Unternehmensumfeld,bezeichnet als Enterprise 2.0, haben gezeigt, wie der Aufbau und der Einsatz von sozialen Beziehungen positive Effekte bei der Kollaboration, der Innovation und des Knowledge Sharing erzielen können. Das Umfeld der Hochschule ist aufgrund ihrer stark kommunikativen Umgebung und ihrer Funktion als Bildungs- und Forschungsstätte offensichtlich für die Integration von Social Computing Methoden geeignet, diese sind jedoch aktuell auf den Campus der meisten Hochschulen kaum präsent. Der Einsatz einer in den sozialen Kontext integrierten Austauschplattform soll soziale Interaktionen auf dem Campus unterstützen und zu einer engeren Zusammenarbeit zwischen Studenten einer Hochschule verhelfen. Dieses als Campus-Brett bezeichnete System, welches sich in seiner Anwendung stark am Schwarzen Brett orientiert, wird in dieser Arbeit entworfen und realisiert.

By means of this thesis the use of social computing concepts at universities will be examined. The trend of Web 2.0 and the transfer of this trend to the business environment, referred to as Enterprise 2.0, have shown positive effects on collaborative work, innovation and knowledge sharing through the use of social relationships. The university campus is apparently suitable for adapting social computing methods, due to their highly communicative environment and its function as an educational and research institution. Nevertheless, they are barely present on most university campuses. Using an exchange platform, which is integrated in the social context, social interactions and cooperative work between students at the campus shall be increased. This system, called Campus Board, is based on the application of a bulletin board and will be designed and implemented in this work.
