Entwicklung kontextsensitiver Möbel für intelligente Wohnumgebungen

Abstract

Eine wichtige Ergänzung zu intelligenten Wohnumgebungen ist eine Idee über den Kontext von Handlungen seiner Bewohner. Dieser Kontext ermöglicht es intelligenten Wohnumgebungen sinnvollere Aktionen zur Unterstützung seiner Bewohner einzuleiten. Zur Gewinnung von Kontext sind Informationen notwendig. Besonders die Position eines Bewohners und der vom Bewohner zurück gelegte Weg ermöglichen Rückschlüsse auf die Intentionen des Bewohners. In dieser Masterarbeit geht es um die Gewinnung dieser Daten. Dabei soll auf Kameras und zusätzliche Hardware verzichtet werden, die das Wohngefühl verändern könnten. Diese Arbeit beschreibt einen Ansatz für den Einsatz von Möbelstücken als Ersatz für Kameras und externe Sensoren. Gleichzeitig zeigt diese Arbeit Wege auf, wie eine gute Basis für kontextsensitive Möbel aussehen könnte. Dafür wurden verschiedene Prototypen gefertigt und eine entsprechende Software entwickelt. Gemeinsam Bieten die Soft- und Hardware eine Basis für kontextsensitive Möbel.

The knowledge, of the context of actions residents take, is an important addition to smart environments. The knowledge of the context allows better support by the environment. The base for context is information. Especially informations about the position of a resident and where he goes is valuable. The position and possible destination of a resident can help forcasting his next actions. This master thesis is about collecting data. It avoids kameras and extra sensor hardware that might have an impact on the way people live. Instead this thesis shows an approach that turns furniture in smart sensors and builds a base for context aware furniture. To show and evaluate this base for context aware furniture, several prototypes and a special software were built. The shown combination of the built soft- and hardware is a good base for context sensitive furniture.
