Entwicklung einer Mehrmaterialstrahlaufhärtungskorrektur für medizinische Flachdetektor-Computertomographie-Systeme

Abstract

Durch die ständige Verbesserung in der Qualität von 3D Rekonstruktionen gewinnen die Strahlaufärtungsartefakte an Bedeutung. Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung einer Mehrmaterialstrahlaufhärtungskorrektur und deren Anwendung auf Flachdetektor-Computertomographie-System Datensätze, sowie der anschließenden Bewertung der Korrekturergebnisse.

Beamhardening artifacts get more important through constant improvements in the quality of 3D reconstructions. This thesis engages with the development of a multimaterial beamhardening correction and its implementation on medical flat detector datasets together with the evaltuation of the correction results.
