Abstract

In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Entwicklungen im Bereich des MP herausge-arbeitet um daraus sich ergebene Trends abzuleiten. Dazu wird die Begrifflichkeit des Mobile-Payments definiert und dessen Ausprägungsformen dargestellt. Dazugehö-rige Teilnehmer des Ökosystems sowie Übermittlungsmethoden, potentielle Erfolgs-faktoren, innovative Geschäftsmodelle und grundlegende gesellschaftliche Verände-rungen werden betrachtet. Außerdem erfolgt eine kontinentalspezifische Darstellung der jeweiligen Dynamik bezüglich der Entwicklung von MP. Die aus der Untersuchung resultierenden Ergebnisse werden anschließend im Fazit zusammengefasst, wo auf Grundlage dieser eine Prognose erstellt wird.

The present paper intends to elaborate the developments in the field of Mobile-Pay-ment and the associated trends. The terminology of Mobile-Payment will be defined and its manifestations will be expounded. In this context, associated participants of the ecosystem and transmission methods, potential success factors, innovative busi-ness models and basic social changes are considered. In addition, the different conti-nental specifics of the dynamic of the development of Mobile-Payment will be de-scribed. The results of this paper are summarized in the conclusion and a forecast will be made.
