dc.description.abstract | Das Thema dieser Arbeit ist die Simulation von Populationen von Schwarmtieren. Grundlage dafür ist das Boids-Modell, welches das lebensecht wirkende Schwärmen von digitalen Schwarmtieren ermöglicht. Dieses Modell wird in dieser Arbeit um einen Lebenszyklus, komplexe Verhaltensweisen und Genetik erweitert, um solche Schwärme als Populationen simulieren zu können. Ergebnis ist ein Prototyp, der mit Javascript und der 3D-Grafikbibliothek Three.js entwickelt wird und der das Populationsmodell implementiert und visualisiert. | de |
dc.description.abstract | The topic of this thesis is the simulation of swarming populations. Basis for this is the boids model, which provides seemingly real swarming behaviour of digital swarm animals. In this thesis the boids model is being extended with a life cycle, complex behaviour and genetics, in order to simulate swarms as populations. The result is a prototype, written in Javascript and the 3d graphics library Three.js, which implements and visualizes the population model. | en |
