Der Zufall: Thematische Reflexion und Verarbeitung extrahierter Aspekte mittels eines Kurzfilms

Abstract

In dieser Masterthesis fasse ich meine persönlichen Ansichten und Gedanken zum Thema Zufall zusammen, und verarbeite einzelne Aspekte in Form eines Kurzfilmkonzepts. Das übergeordnete Ziel ist, ein filmisches Projekt zu starten und in schriftlicher und praktischer Form die Konzeptphase zu bearbeiten. Diese schließt Unterteile wie Drehbuchkonzept, technische und stilistische Tests und die Umsetzung einzelner Szenen mit ein. Weiterer Bestandteil ist die Reflexion über einzelne Punkte des Arbeitsprozesses und der Hintergründe der Idee. Das Thema „Zufall“ spielt hierbei die zentrale Rolle und soll das Projekt im Prozess sowie auf der inhaltlichen Ebene begleiten. Überlegungen, die während des kreativen Prozesses gemacht, - und Entscheidungen, die dabei getroffen werden, sollen dokumentiert werden, ebenso wie persönliche Erfahrungen und Gedanken zum Projekt sowie zum Medium Film allgemein.

This thesis summarizes my personal thoughts and views towards the topic of “chance”. Specific ideas generated and developed throughout this manuscript will be used for the adaptation of a short film concept. The overarching aim of the current work is the initiation of a film project and associated work concerning theoretical and practical aspects of the conceptual phase. This includes realization processes like design and generation of the conceptual scenario, conduct of technical and stylistic tests, as well as actual implementation of specific scenes. Another aspect of the current thesis is a reflection regarding specific parts of the work in progress and the backgrounds of the short-films themes. The concept of chance plays a central role and accompanies this project during the entire process. Thoughts and decisions regarding the creative process will be collected, as well as personal thoughts towards the project and the medium film in general.
