Konzept eines ontologie-basierten Urban Sense Systems für mobile Endgeräte

Abstract

Begünstigt durch die Entwicklung hin zur Allgegenwärtigkeit von Computern nach Weiser (1996) hält Sensorik zur Wahrnehmung von Stadt Einzug in urbanen Räumen. Informationen in diesen Räumen können opportunistisch und partizipativ erfasst werden. Diese Arbeit erfasst das Gebiet des Urban Sensing und konzeptioniert aufbauend ein System für das Kundschaften als speziellen Bereich des Urban Sensing. Zur Erfassung werden mobile Geräte durch ihre hohe Verbreitung und technischen Möglichkeiten betrachtet, welche durch die Nutzung von semantischer Bedeutungszuweisung mit zusätzlichen Informationen angereichert werden. Das Ziel ist es, für die Anwendungsklasse Scouting ein System zu konzeptionieren, aufbauend auf der Nutzung mobiler Endgeräte und semantisch angereicherten Informationen, und Rückschlüsse auf den Gesamtbereich des Urban Sensing zu ziehen.

Sensor technology permeates modern city life. Sensor ubiquity, advanced by the development of computer technology, means that sensor technology is able to sense the state of urban spaces, both in opportunistic and participative ways. The thesis, in the context of urban sensing, develops its own concept for a system within the special sphere of urban sensing for human ’scouts’. Mobile telephones were examined in terms of their proliferation and technical options to provide evidence to support the findings contained in this thesis, together with the use of semantic structure to describe the impact of the findings presented in this thesis. The primary goal to develop an original concept of a system for the class of applications named ’scouting’, constructed for the use of mobile phone equipment and semantically enriched information. The secondary goal is to draw conclusions on the total area of urban sensing.
