dc.description.abstractMultilinear systems are an extension of linear systems and are an active field of research in control systems. Tensors algebra enables compact and efficient computation of multilinear systems analogous to how linear algebra is used in the context of linear systems. This work develops a method of extracting multilinear parameters in canonical polyadic decomposition from standardised nonlinear systems in MATLAB. This procedure is applied to an existing model of a heating system of a non-residential building and subsequently evaluated for accuracy of the resulting model.en
