| de |
dc.description.abstract | In this work, the development of a stack consisting of 50 tubular vanadium redox flow battery cells is described. The stack achieves a compromise between ease of assembly and interconnection, and space and material efficiency. The components of the electrolyte supply modules are designed in a geometrically flexible, material-efficient, and injection-moldable sandwich construction. Against the prototype stack, the space requirement per cell is reduced by 87%, and the material usage per cell is reduced by 94%. By integrating the hydraulic model into the development, a supply deviation of 0.9% and a pressure loss fraction of 1.8% are achieved. | en |
