Enterprise Mirrors - Interaktive und ubiquitäre Benutzungsschnittstellen für Unternehmen

Abstract

Durch den zunehmenden Einsatz von Social Software in Unternehmen (Enterprise 2.0), sehen sich diese mit immer neuen Herausforderungen konfrontiert. Viele Informationen verschwinden dauerhaft auf Serversystemen und kommen nur mittels aktiver Suche zum Vorschein. Für dieses Problem bieten ubiquitäre Benutzungsschnittstellen einen möglichen Lösungsansatz. Sie können durch ihre nahtlose Integration in das Arbeitsumfeld den Informationsfluss in Unternehmen günstig beeinflussen und dabei helfen, ein besseres Gewahrsein für das zur Verfügung gestellte Informationsangebot zu entwickeln. Diese Masterarbeit setzt hier an und stellt eine eigene Umsetzung einer ubiquitären Benutzungsschnittstelle sowie ihren Einsatz in einem Unternehmen vor. Dabei werden die ubiquitäre Benutzungsschnittstelle und das zur Verfügung gestellte Informationsangebot evaluiert sowie ausblickend Entwicklungspotentiale aufgezeigt.

Due to the increasing use of social software within companies (Enterprise 2.0) they are confronted with new challenges. Lots of composed information disappear permanently on server systems and are only reachable through active search. In this regard ubiquitous interfaces offer a possible solution. Through a seamless integration within the working environment, they can positively affect the flow of information and can help to develop a better awareness of the information offered in companies. This master thesis will present a custom implementation of a ubiquitous interface and its deployment in a company. In doing so this ubiquitous interface and its information offer will be evaluated and potentials for future development will be described.
