dc.description.abstract | Diese Arbeit beschreibt die Konzeption und Durchführung eines Versuches zur Feststellung der Erkennungsschwellwerte von audiovisuellem Redirected Walking. Dabei wurden an 20 Probanden insgesamt 954 Manipulationen getestet, aufgeteilt in Rotation Gains und Curvature Gains. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Probanden physisch 31,7% weniger und 35,6% mehr gedreht werden können als die wahrgenommene virtuelle Rotation. Außerdem können diese auf einem Bogen mit einem Radius von 6 Metern umgeleitet werden, während sie dachten, sie laufen geradeaus. dc.description.abstract | This work describes the planning and conduction of an experiment to determine detection thresholds of audiovisual redirected walking. Therefore 20 subjects and a sum of 954 manipulations were tested, separated into rotation gains and curvature gains. The results show that subjects can be turned physically 31.7% less and 35.6% more than the perceived virtual rotation. In addition to that they could be redirected on a circular arc with a radius of 6 meter while believing they are walking on a straight line.
