Tensors algebra enables compact and efficient computation of multilinear systems analogous to how linear algebra is used in the context of linear systems. This work develops a method of extracting multilinear parameters in canonical polyadic decomposition from standardised nonlinear systems in MATLAB. This procedure is applied to an existing model of a heating system of a non-residential building and subsequently evaluated for accuracy of the resulting model. |
