Abschätzung der alterungsbedingten Leistungsverluste im Sekundärluftsystem des CFM56-5C Turbofantriebwerks

Abstract

Das Ziel dieser Bachelorarbeit ist die Abschätzung der alterungsbedingten Leistungsverluste im Sekundärluftsystem des CFM56-5C Turbofantriebwerks. Dafür wird ein, mit der kommerziellen Software Flownex, zuvor erstelltes 1D-Strömungsmodell des Sekundärluftsystems weiterentwickelt und validiert. Anhand des auftretenden Verschleißes an der Labyrinthdichtung des CDP-Seals werden mit dem Modell verschiedene Stadien der Triebwerksalterung betrachtet und die dadurch auftretenden Leistungsverluste ermittelt.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the estimation of performance loss in the secondary air system of the CFM56-5C turbofan engine due to wear. Therefore, a prior created 1D-flow model of the secondary air system with the commercial software Flownex is enhanced and validated. Based on the occuring wear of the labyrinth seal of the CDP-Seal different stages of engine aging are considered and the resulting performance losses are determined with the model.
